A co-operative bank is a registered bank which has applied and received a co-operative banking licence from the Supervisor of Co-operative Banks. A group of people get together to create a platform for accessible and relevant banking services. GCI Cooperative Bank, this is what the 1st annual general meeting of GCI held on Saturday, 22 September 2018, African Footprints Lodge Midrand, resolved to establish and see to it that it is operational on or before the 30 April 2019.
